Apple warns: Shortage of macs and iPods soon

Apple has sent a newsletter to all its stores: They will reduce production of the entire current generation of iPods, MacBook and MacBook Pro. In addition, the bulletin suggests that stores are sourcing for 4 weeks, since in the next week there could be shortages.

This, of course, raises the rumours of a reshuffle of all these products. Apple tends to reduce production when they will present something new and does something very similar happened with the shortage of first-generation iPhones weeks before the launch of 3G model.

It seems almost certain that in August or September Apple list we can have a profound renewal of iPods and computers… now only need to reach us news about whether to hold any of those ’special events’ to the press that we like …
