News about iPhone
Apple patented a screen lock with notifications for future updates to the iPhone
One of many things for improvement in the iPhone is the notification system you have. The device should incorporate some sort of “alerts” that allows the user to know immediately, browsing the lowest number of screens possible, if you have SMS, e-mail or calendar event without reading (at least).

I even settle for a small icon on the top bar (in Installer 3 already existed an application that did this), but until now, officially, we had nothing.
However, a new Apple patent demonstrates the interest in the company by giving a roll to the screen lock iPhone: the screen with more visibility from the user and presents fewer features.
In this patent, we can see a system of alerts for notification on the screen, with the number of messages, e-mails, events, etc … without reading. Apparently could even serve as shortcuts to each of its sections, after unlocking the phone.
Something very similar is already Intelliscreen: a “tuneado” of the blockade on the screen that shows not only what I said, but also even the weather or the news. In this case, Intelliscreen takes a long time, earlier in Installer 3 and Cydia from now (if you have the iPhone OS 2.0 or higher).
Most likely we will see an implementation of this patent at an early firmware revisions of the iPhone: hopefully improve the consumption of resources Intelliscreen, the only weak point of this wonderful application.

Philips accessories for iPods and iPhone
When we think of acquiring a sleeve or any other accessory for our iPod’so iPhone always resort to the same brands that later prove difficult to find, oblingandonos to make a purchase online.

This does not mean much problem but it is always best to see what we buy physically, especially when we do not have a good reference for the final out of the sleeve of Maya Proporta like we did Salva Castro. And that we can find from the distribution that Philips has in many countries.
If you dais a return on his website, the section of accessories for portable players we can find a wide variety. Some continue to be plenty of others but are really interesting, so I selected a small sample of those who seem to me we should take into account as an option to buy.

VideoShell a rigid and transparent casing for the iPod Touch with the exact dimensions to be perfectly aligned and a sheet adhesive to protect the screen. So far nothing new, particularity and detail that I liked is that in part trasea incorporates a carrier that folds excel without the casing, allowing it to put our iPod Touch either vertically or horizontally. All for about 15 euros, which does not strike me as excessive.

Funda Jam Jacket, silicone sleeves available for the iPod Nano as Classic. Their corners are reinforced by if there is any drop and an organizer of headphones in the rear, so that once finished using ropes and rolling we can put the headphones so as not to be getting tangled up.
* Command universal dock for the iPod. This is great, if for some reason you need to buy a universal command to your TV, DVD player or any device you can opt for this solution. Consisting of a base that allows accommodate the iPod and control it while we took the audio or video to our TV or a computer speaker. The command for its part has an LCD screen that can be used to display menus of our iPod regardless of location because it works through walls. The snag is that it is not allowed to synchronize with our computer does not have to take to connect the USB cable.
Ultimately, I strongly recommend echéis a look at other accessories for if there were any other whatever your pleasure or utility. Better alternative sure that there are also worst but the important thing is to have the more options the better. Following is a matter of valuing each that compensates him more, the good Philips as I said before is easier to find them.

Nokia raises its offer of N-Gage games on Xbox Live and Playstation Network
Despite the fact that this is a rumor, I do not think it is a preposterous idea, besides the statements by Aki Jarvilehto, representative of Nokia in 2008 Develop Mobile iban directed in this regard.
Nokia is not closed to share the efforts employed in development for the N-Gage platform and studying share their games on other platforms. Aki Jarvilehto commented that the concept of Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Online is not so different from what they intend to achieve, can share common products.
Rumor: Nokia raises offer the N-Gage games and live in ps networkNo really know if what they’re trying to do is bring the rest of developers showing their platform as a channel more to choose to distribute their games, or just wants to make versions of Nokia its games for Sony and Microsoft platforms, as is the rapprochement is interesting.

The idea is that your Nokia channel can be just as competitive as desktop competitors in terms of quality of the games, but they can establish a mobile platform, easier to connect to networks and of course cheaper.
Rumor: Nokia raises its offer of N-Gage games on Xbox Live and Playstation Network
The representative of the Finnish company also felt on Apple, which believes it has developed a product with technology seamless and easy to use, at the level of specification is not revolutionary, because they or Sony Ericsson have a more powerful terminals in the market.
At this point, Aki Jarvilehto noted that the N95 for example, has a faster processor than the iPhone, but this does not guarantee the developers to create better products, so it should improve in this aspect to its platform near to enterprises development.
Rumor: Nokia raises its offer of N-Gage games on Xbox Live and Playstation NetworkMe gives the impression that try opening a hole in the world of video games is quite difficult even for companies the size of Nokia, and present ideas as to what this makes me think is that they want to ensure that cross-platform games have a N-Gage as a system in which to perform a version.
I think that is not the best way to succeed in this market, the content itself is very unique and valued by the market, and in this sense can take example from companies like Nintendo, with an excellent internal development policy are dominating the world market .

Updated software: iTunes 7.7.1
Just a few weeks after its launch, Apple has returned to update iTunes, this time to version 7.7.1. In the wake of general misinformation, the only thing we know about this mysterious piece of code is that “solves some bugs and improves stability and performance” of implementation.

Nobody bitter sweet but also Applesfera although we love stability and optimal performance, one of the major problems we are experiencing users of version 2.0 software and iPod iPhone touch is still present: the copy process security that is too slow starts every time you synchronize the device even if just want to add any song or update calendars. So difficult is to analyze the changes and modify only that part of the backup? Really it is necessary to make a full dump my iPhone 3G whenever you connect… Even on the same day? Finally, Apple, please serves our prayers.
In any event, as always, you can download the complete application via Web Apple or update directly from the software update option from the menu bar. There are 48 MB of anything.

Opinion: The multitouch of potential new iPod Nano: Is Full or limited?
The latest rumors do not stop telling us we approach a new generation of iPods, and between them can get an iPod nano with multitouch technology. It is something that many users (including myself included) consider a “natural evolution” of iPods with the classic clickwheel, the interface that is not much time is left of life.
But then we started to draw users mentally how would this new iPod Nano with multitouch. Personally, I see it simply as an iPod touch smaller. Something like what you see in the picture we sent our reader Joaquin Amieva some time now.
Of course, this hypothetical new iPod Nano would have the smaller screen, something unavoidable given their status as “iPod smallest.” And on that screen elements less fit, less icons. Yes we could enjoy all the gestures multitouch already used in the iPhone and iPod touch, but restrictions on the small screen can bring some problems.
These problems (in my personal opinion, of course) may be several. For example: This new iPod would have WiFi to surf the Internet? Clearly, it is perfectly possible, but I do not think that Apple to enter for two reasons: The navigation would not be so convenient to have a small screen, and the iPod would be quite expensive. Purchasers of an iPod Nano seek cheaper than normal, and would be counterproductive. In addition, we should redesign all web applications for fixed width for the iPhone were well in this new iPod Nano…
Another problem: Are the applications worth the AppStore for this iPod? Surely what Apple had in mind when creating the SDK, or will be worth it or not. The resolution used by the applications would have to change, perhaps some games could not run because the processor iPod Nano could not with them… in any case, we should create applications for iPhono / Touch iPod and, separately, applications for iPod Nano.
I am quite clear that an iPod Nano with a multitouch would puntazo by Apple, but I think we already have some features with existing terminals multitouch would not be present at the Nano, mostly by the price at which end up leaving.

Image of the week: televisions round
Apart from the technology that exists in its internal developments in the world of televisions not a marvel. The exterior design follows a fixed and immutable patterns that mark and no one dares to break definitively perhaps to fear what’s new in something as traditional as television. How consumers react?

Beyond different frameworks, different colors and finishes and little more, there are televisions in the market, are OLED, plasma or LCD, are very similar.
Humax, who already speak the other day, could leave the market with something new. The designer Tej Chauhan has created a concept for the signature of TV with curves, different and inspiring, which will be presented in Milan of an object as if it were fashionable.
And that is the line that separates sometimes consumer electronics and fashion is very thin.

Asus Eee PC 904 HD Review
Asus Eee PC 904 HD
Asus has not missed much time since the rumor of another day on their new teams in the 900 series, and we know the details of the new model ultraportable: Asus Eee PC 904 HD.

Although the HD name this ultraportable makes us happy at least in the imagination, this Asus eee PC 904 HD no developments beyond the larger keyboard and disk, which may not be SSD but traditional. Hence the name of HD.
The Asus PC 904 is on the market at the moment in the UK at a lower price from the current range. It will be around EUR 350, with 8.9-inch screen, hard disk and traditional full-size keyboard.
While this happens in the UK, here in Spain counting only with the model 701, the most basic, and that has already been passed by numerous rivals. And from September, for everyone.

Netgear WGR614L, router OpenSource
Netgear WGR614L, router OpenSource
The Netgear WGR614L is a router that can operate like any other, but also implements a feature that may prove more interesting that for the most technically advanced: includes a 240 MHz processor with 4 MB of storage and 16 MB RAM to run applications on the router, which can be created by users or downloaded from websites specialized.

The router itself is compatible with the 802.11g standard, but not with the draft n, enjoys protection WEP, WPA, WPA2-PSK and WPS in addition to other security measures, and has a size of 175.3×27.94×119.4 millimetres with a weight of around 250 grams.
The grace router rather than its features is the idea of a OpenRouter, which can run applications from third parties (or, as I said earlier, applications programmed by ourselves) that allow, for example, create two SSIDs one for us and one for guests, or that generate usage statistics of the wireless network.
Its price is not excessively expensive, 69 dollars, and is already available in some stores. The possibility of installing the application you want a router I feel great, especially considering that lies behind a community that already has plenty of material ready to download on your page and has painted that will not only create applications for this Netgear WGR614L But for other routers OpenSource available. In addition, this community extends the possibilities of this router not only those users who control the subject, but also many others whose skills may not be as extensive but may do so through all the manuals, tutorials and FAQs available in the community.
