muCommander, a free alternative to the Finder

One of the great advantages of meeting face to the rest of Mac OS is the Finder, with which manage my files and folders tremendously better than with Windows Explorer. However, there may be people who do not end up getting used in the Finder, which today will bring this alternative.

mucommander
muCommander is an alternative file browser with which we can explore in two folders at once, very similar to the overall commander of Windows. We can drag and drop files from one panel to another, connect to FTP servers, scan ZIP files or disk ISO images without the need to decompress, and explore the images with its integrated viewer.

If you do not finish like Finder, this program may be a candidate to be installed on your Mac. But since you notice that the design of the interface is not the panacea revolution in design (although it supports skins), and the keyboard shortcuts are completely different to those of Leopard, so its use can be quite confusing. Still, it’s OK to have alternatives such as this.

MuCommander is free, free, multi-platform, in addition to being translated into 21 languages.
