My Passport Studio, the new record Firewire 800 and USB 2.0 for Mac
Western Digital has introduced a new portable drive Firewire 800 connection and preformatted for Mac with HFS file system. With an added plus as a screen where you can view information on the building.

That information can be personalized, creating labels and see for example that we have stored all those videos, songs, photographs, .. . And if you wonder around the screen, it is powered independently and need not be connected to the computer to display the information. There are currently two models available, one of 640 and another 320 GB to a relatively higher price compared with only one USB 2.0 connection but many appreciate and value. Same for remote users to the Mac platform and the rapid adoption of USB 3.0 standard can be a bad choice but not the Mac user. Another plus incorporating the new drives from WD is a software encryption to safeguard data, something is wrong unless it is absolutely essential not by applications such as Espionage or use encrypted disk images.
