Apple patented a screen lock with notifications for future updates to the iPhone

One of many things for improvement in the iPhone is the notification system you have. The device should incorporate some sort of “alerts” that allows the user to know immediately, browsing the lowest number of screens possible, if you have SMS, e-mail or calendar event without reading (at least).

I even settle for a small icon on the top bar (in Installer 3 already existed an application that did this), but until now, officially, we had nothing.

However, a new Apple patent demonstrates the interest in the company by giving a roll to the screen lock iPhone: the screen with more visibility from the user and presents fewer features.

In this patent, we can see a system of alerts for notification on the screen, with the number of messages, e-mails, events, etc … without reading. Apparently could even serve as shortcuts to each of its sections, after unlocking the phone.

Something very similar is already Intelliscreen: a “tuneado” of the blockade on the screen that shows not only what I said, but also even the weather or the news. In this case, Intelliscreen takes a long time, earlier in Installer 3 and Cydia from now (if you have the iPhone OS 2.0 or higher).

Most likely we will see an implementation of this patent at an early firmware revisions of the iPhone: hopefully improve the consumption of resources Intelliscreen, the only weak point of this wonderful application.
