2012 Hyundai Elantra Customer Comments

2012 Hyundai Elantra

“On our routes, which saw us plowing away along grooved freeways, expansion-jointed roads, chopped up asphalt and even the occasional sandy shoreline parking lot, we experienced one of the best compact/mid-sized rides we have had behind the wheel.”
“Even though the interior styling felt expensive, I was a bit put off by the adolescence of its design; it looked like a Transformer in the midst of a noisy, clanking transformation.”
Hyundai Elantra’s interior is impressive. It can come equipped with sought after features like navigation, Bluetooth, a rear view camera and heated leather backseats on the Limited trim — a first for an affordable small car.
Hyundai covers all of its vehicles with one of the most comprehensive warranties on the market: a five-year/60,000-mile bumper to bumper warranty, a 10-year/100,000-mile warranty and five-year complimentary Roadside Assistance.

Hedwig:Just hit 6,000 with the car. I took it on a road trip from Austin, TX to Flagstaff, AZ. The drive is mostly highway with 75 miles per hour speed limit, mostly flat grounds, not much traffic. I maintained a speed around 75-80 mph. The total trip avg. speed was 62 mph. I averaged 37.7 mpg. At one point in New Mexico I drove 150 miles at 42.5 mpg at 75 mph. I suspect I was driving downhill most of the time with wind in the back, because I was not able to duplicate that. I was able to achieve the best gas mileage after I did the first oil change at 3,750 miles. I made sure I put in a high quality engine oil and put a brand gasoline, medium grade, and the gas mileage around 37 to 38 was achieved.

Daniella:Just bought a 2011 Elantra on the 23rd of December. It is my wife’s car – she traded in a 2008 Civic Coupe (we’ve had 5 Hondas). This is our 1st Hyundai, and it is very impressive.
2012 Elantra
Dollie:I absolutely love this car, it combines comfort with sportiness and excellent on gas. Definitely the best purchase I made to date. I traded in my 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan and have no regretted it one bit.
2012 Hyundai Elantra
Vince:The only thing I notice is a little motion in crosswinds. The features are just incredible. Being able to stream Pandora on android phone via Bluetooth is just too cool.
2012 Elantra
Heather:The doors and trunk close with a thump. The doors are quite heavy for a compact car.
2012 Hyundai Elantra
Catherina:The back seat room is smaller but fine for kids, and the car is more fun to drive than the old and new Accords, Sonata, and Fusion.
2012 Hyundai Elantra
Timmy:Even without the adjustable lumbar support the seats are comfortable.
Elantra 2012
Emmett:I then drove from Pensecola to Tallahasse and got 42 miles per gallon. WOW! I did all kinds of milage comparisions while I had the car for a week. In general it gets 32mpg mixed driving. At 75 mph hwy it gets about 35-37mpg. I drove a 17 mile stretch of flat road and it aveaged 55mpg. I was driving a Mazda RX-8. Now I bought a new Elantra for 18,000.00. I would have paid more!

10 Applications for iPhone that helps us to develop new skills

I recently read an entry on Mashable curious where we showed 10 applications to learn new skills easily and step by step. The diversity of applications for the iPhone OS and IPADE is tremendous, that no doubt, but it is funny how we can enforce these applications to develop our skills a bit more and why not, discover new hobbies and hobbies which in principle we had no intentions to practice but after reading this post can be presented as we wish.

10 Applications for iPhone that helps us to develop new skills

As you will see below that we suggest applications are focused on small tutorials or guides that can teach us a trick and introduce some discipline, are free and I think this model makes sense to share applications on the App Store so is as it should be, if someone wants to deepen in some field or go to any more specific guidance and detailed, then surely some other application is more elaborate, more detailed and of course more expensive. Come on with it the list of applications that can be found in the extended entry. Ability 1: Learn basic Origami With Dollar Origami Lite we learn our first steps in the and ancient Japanese art of paper folding, origami. The application presents various forms of origami using dollar bills, but do not understand currency origami, we can apply to any type of ticket. It’s great to hang out when we have nothing else to do and our hands are free. In the application itself is free, of course, but it is imperative to have a ticket (or alternative waste paper) at hand. (# ) Ability 2: First Aid Workshop is clear that in an emergency situation you can not cry “Stay around the world that I will open my iPhone and study how to do the word of mouth. In any case, when we have some time we can review what we proposed to apply CPR & Choking. There we can watch videos on tips and tutorials for managing cardiac massage and other procedures that may aid the future may be useful. Although it is clear that we must never venture to carry out these practices without knowing all the details, we can cause more harm than good if you do not have adequate training, with this application we can get an idea of the basics, but we can never take us this matter lightly as if it were child’s play. Skill 3: Learn to tie the knot at a time Are you still relying on a relative to do your tie knot? Do you have a wedding and have never known make the knot? Well suffer no more, with the application vTie – Guide Necktie know the procedure to perform some typical tie knots for those occasions where you need to wear a tie. While yes, you do not expect to go first, this becoming the knot (and I speak from experience) requires much trial and error. Ability 4: Make magic tricks in no time It is clear that this application, Magic Shop, is not focused on us to become the David Copperfield overnight. Instead, he presents 10 basic tricks and interesting to implement in a time where you want to draw attention, using everyday objects and mundane effects can make quite funny. Ability 5: Typing for iPhone With the implementation iTextSpeed Lite you can improve your writing skills with the iPhone keyboard. Promise that through games and exercises we propose the application will be able to improve our typing speed and reduce the rate of typographical errors. It also has the ability to review our statistics display screen to see how we improve. Skill 6: Be a teacher of the sailors knots If we are interested in learning to perform using rope or cord knots, Knots Free is our application to learn the first steps, we can see pictures and learn one by one all the movements necessary to build a good reef knot. There are plenty of situations where make a good knot, tie ropes, tied to the mother to the chair, provide some structure and application … always good in the least expected moment we have the chance to make a good knot. Ability 7: The morse is not so difficult when you have the bases If we have Free Morse Code we use the universally recognized code of dots and dashes. We come in handy in situations where no other means of communication is possible, we can use that code to send messages using sound or visual signaling distance. Remember that many people must learn the code and use it to communicate when circumstances oblige him. So if we have an application that serves as a translator so we can communicate and ask for help how to interpret all the information you sent us. Ability 8: Learn to play a song on the piano (# ) Well, this application but there is nothing to learn to play a song, using an interface similar to Guitar Hero can see which keys to play, in what order without one iota of music theory, only learning based on repetition. If you want to impress someone and there’s a keyboard around, perhaps with the implementation Pocket Universe Lite Piano Song you can sign a little and learn four notes to show that you know much, when in fact know how to play a song or none. Skill 9: Know the basics of chess In Chess.com have the chance to learn tactics and small little strategies * to choose either our first motions in the game of chess also allows users to play against others if we check the service for free. Everything is focused on web service, but allows some games and keep improving the level gradually. Skill 10: Prepare the best cocktails Want to four recipes for some of the most famous cocktails? Mixology: Drink Recipes has that and more with this free application can access a lot of cocktails and do little tricks for making them. So you know, not all games, applications the camera or to connect to our social networks, also disponéis a wide range of applications gratutias with which to improve and learn new tricks and new hobbies, but yes, as I announced the beginning of the entry, are very focused on being a commencement, to the bases, never to become a reference guide, if anyone has thought deeply into any of these 10 skills to be a course, buy a detailed book and to devote time and effort. LoadMyTracks, a program to convert GPS tracks

If you use a GPS and assisted GPS kit outdoor routes or TwoNav, both compatible with the load paths, you may have found that the majority of files uploaded from sites like Wikiloc are not compatible with these programs. To support these files is fairly easy with a program called LoadMyTracks.

The new iPhone could come around June 21

Due to a change in plans for some users in the U.S. network AT & T along with the iPhone 3G, have raised suspicions about the launch date of its successor bets place this time around June 21.

The new iPhone could come around June 21

MobileCrunch A reader reported the following: Do not know if everyone has noticed the same thing [...] but the rights of renewing my contract phone on my AT & T has just passed on 21 November June 21 recently. I bought a 3G on launch day last year, and since that date was Nov. 11. Other colleagues in my office have also seen that the dates have moved forward in their accounts. On June 21 became a date that raises concern, since the beginning of that month will be held at WWDC 2010, and certainly will be at the keynote of the annual event where Steve Jobs unveiled the new phone from Apple. Already there were rumors that its release would be almost immediate, but if we ignore him at that time in the case of the AT & T, could be that the June 21 release date was. Either that or the iPhone would be launched the day after the keynote, but the owners of a 3G upgrade will not be able to within a few weeks, as a control measure to help minimize delays in shipments. The moment , it’s certain that as of June 21 AT & T customers will enjoy a discount if you want to update your iPhone, which leads us to say that very likely already have a new model in the street for those dates. It is less. Vía | MobileCrunch Image | Myuibe

One More Thing (week of 03/05/2010)

It is less guys to sell the IPAD worldwide and get to know data on the rates that operators offer, discount options as announced Movistar if already a client of a data rate less than 25 €. But now is not the only Mac-favorite The blogosphere is still in motion and the Hispanic-speaking blogosphere would not be less.

One More Thing (week of 03/05/2010)

This week, without a lot if I wanted to highlight a selection of several items for their usefulness or content seem to me great, in our One More Thing … IPADE will arouse much interest. More still? Yes, and that the size of the screen and its options are ideal for many applications and the latter is the Super Nintendo emulator. Wiimote with him and we will be able to enjoy great games like the one shown in the video that show us EsferaiPhone, Super Mario Kart on the iPhone. The world of accessories is perhaps one of the most prolific within the Apple ecosystem. On a daily basis are many iPod, Mac, iPhone or IPAD, keyboards, mice, etc … but mostly covers. One of the last I’ve found has been through Mactivistas, linking to the Grove covers for the iPhone. Made of bamboo and a laser engraved reason they look great. Too bad I guess is more delicate than their counterparts in materials such as plastic, leather or silicone. Also, not now but as soon as the new iPhone, I will be careful because, besides the designs available can order it with our own. Lost some reason would be nice, do not ?. I personally prefer Lightroom to Aperture but not recognize the virtues of Apple’s implementation. The problem is that for some managed in Aperture it is not as easy as in other applications of the same type. Therefore, despite knowing about its existence for some time, this week I’ve been checking the forums for Aperture-es. Where you can find useful information to improve the Use other systems, portable applications that are known and allow us to take us wherever we go our messaging client, browser and bookmarks, etc … In Mac OS X is also available and No without my Mac has made a compilation of the most útiles.Los disk errors are something we all wish to avoid but fortunately or unfortunately is not always achieved. For those who suffer the error disk0s2: I / O error Invalid node structure can be remedied with the help of Mac Metro One after live in their own flesh has been written to solve this problem in the future. There we again next week. Remember that you can send your links that you consider interesting mendiante our contact form. But above all continue to give movement to this world through your blogs

ShellHere adds to your Mac OS X Finder can open a Terminal from any folder

Perhaps the use of Terminal is not widespread among the majority of users through the graphical interface of Mac OS X much easier for us to perform any task with our records. However, in our Finder ShellHere add the possibility to open a Terminal from the folder in which we find ourselves at the touch of an icon and easily.

ShellHere adds to your Mac OS X Finder can open a Terminal from any folder

ShellHere is a very small application that can save our Applications folder. From there, drag it to the side or top of the window from any folder in Finder for us to display a button with direct access to it. Since that time, if you press is an icon (I have marked in red in the picture above where it remains in the Finder) will automatically open a Terminal with the path to the folder where you currently are. Its use is much simpler than OpenTerminalHere, which we talked for nearly four years as in the case of ShellHere do not need anything to use memory-resident (actually we add to the Finder is an alias to the application). It is completely free, and highly recommended for what we need to have access to the terminal immediately. Official Site | ShellHere

Apple is exploring the possibility of using invisible buttons in future laptops

Apple continues to advance its crusade to reduce to a minimum design (apparent) of their equipment and now advocates a new patent that would cover a number of physical controls the aluminum body making the MacBook Pro literally invisible to the user. The idea is to take a step further technology currently used in the indicator of rest, consisting of a series of small holes made with a drill laser are virtually invisible when the light is off, so that the new laptops would benefit from touch-sensitive areas where they could come and go buttons as they were needed or not.

Apple is exploring the possibility of using invisible buttons in future laptops

For example, when they entered iTunes could draw a wheel like the iPod next to the laptop’s trackpad, allowing use to monitor the implementation of a more intuitive way while respecting the minimalist style of the company making it disappear when no longer useful. In addition to opening a program other conditions that could activate these controls and indicators would be the detection of motion or light sensor, greatly expanding its practical applications. In addition, this technology also be used to put buttons on the outside of the laptop or simply to indicate the level of battery or signal strength Wi-Fi even though the MacBook screen is closed, allowing the user to perform tasks without having to open laptop. The patent describes such buttons to activate an external monitor, synchronize your iPod or iPhone, install software or turn off the computer, all without opening the lid. No less interesting is the last application described in the patent: its use as a replacement for notebook trackpad, allowing cursor control by sliding your finger over the very surface of the aluminum body of the MacBook Pro and simplifying (even more) the impressive design of this equipment. Document of the patent, Apple said it considered other methods to hide these controls, such as plastic buttons colored as to simulate the metal, but the appearance and finish were not identical to that of aluminum so conflicted with their objectives. The text also emphasizes the aesthetic benefits, environmental and production casings offering created from a single piece of metal, thereby justifying their efforts to overcome the challenges that led to the patent. 2009 Toyota Yaris Pics | Pros and Cons

Rating: 59 out of 100 by Gavinraundefined

I have to say that I love my Yaris. It is sharp and economical. The gas mileage is good and the car has been very reliable thus far. Very reasonable price.

Favorite

Everything being in the middle makes it different and the radio is nice. The low body kit makes it look sporty but girly at the same time.

Cons

Better arm rest.

Rating: 96 out of 100 by Mighteye

I am going to write this for what it is, one of the least expensive cars on the market. I am really impressed for the price. With the first fill up, got 42 mpg. A/C, AM-FM stereo/CD with MP3 plug in. ABS, 15″ wheels, drives nice, plenty of power to weight. I bought a car that is much quieter then my Ranger XLT, gets better mpg then my RAV4 and is fun to drive. Unlike those who want all kinds of standard features, I am happy that they aren’t loaded as I had a lot more choice in the price. I understand that I didn’t buy a Lexus, I bought an economy car and am very happy with it. I look forward to years of Yaris miles.

Pros

I am one of the strange ones that actually enjoys the speedometer being in the middle of the dash.

Suggested Improvements

Telescoping steering wheel.

Windows Live Messenger can be seen in some screenshots

Though long ago that “the Messenger” lost bellows and ceased to be the mass phenomenon that was once, even with all in many countries is still widely used, and although is not available and we have the first catch of the program. Microsoft announced the arrival of long-platform program for iPhone and iPod touch, but the accumulation of some delays and we still have not seen any pictures of the program or its finish.

The picture accompanying this entry is a montage with some screenshots of the final version of the software. Above all emphasize good design of the program, you can not deny anything in this regard: it maintains the aesthetics of adaptadola network fairly faithful to the iPhone, something not always easy to achieve. It also looks pretty good section of photographs. The program should arrive in June, is still in beta, but after all the delays can not be assured that date. Hopefully at least introduce the multitasking software to use it further. Vía | Neowin In Applesfera | MSN Messenger comes to the iPhone and iPod touch, but only to China

Chaos Rings, the new Square-Enix RPG for iPhone, iPod touch and IPAD

Chaos Rings RPG is the first made specifically for the iPhone by Square Enix and Vision Media, creators of the sagas of Final Fantasy and Wild Arms respectively. The game brings the usual Square combat system to the features of iPhone and iPod touch to introduce a sort of Dungeon Hunter will be most remembered for his graphic section for a rundown gameplay.

Chaos Rings, the new Square-Enix RPG for iPhone, iPod touch and IPAD

Still especially after expectations raised, it is not surprising that the majority of gamers that have been with him since he was put on sale last week criticized (rightly) two key issues: price, 10.49 euros, excessive craved for what eventually brings (like so many other big games in the App Store), and repetitive elements of its approach. Still, I’m sure the followers of the aforementioned Dungeon Hunter this did not cause any problems, and we must recognize that Yusuke Naora, game character designer known for his roles in such titles as Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children or release pending Final Fantasy Agito XIII, has done a magnificent job that fits perfectly with a carefully crafted to funds that yes, they could be equipped with more movement. (# ) The game’s plot revolves around a tournament in which fighters must fight to survive in groups of two. Each pair, consisting of a male and female, hides his own secrets and only unravels the stories of them all come to know the truth about the Ark Arena, the place where we will face all kinds of enemies. This story, without any boasting, but is interesting enough sins of another old problem that the Spanish are more than accustomed (not resigned): the absence of our own language. Still, it seems that the game is having a pretty good reception, ranking seamlessly between the top of the main international and Stores Square to demonstrate being satisfied with the results openly they are making. So much so that the company has already confirmed through the game’s producer, Takehiro Ando, the people of Media Vision and has been to work to adapt the IPAD and Chaos Rings release a HD graphics. Is there someone who continues to doubt the capabilities of the iPhone OS as a gaming platform? I hope not, as I hope the developers, now that they have overcome the technical side, begin to focus on other things that should have been his top priority.
