The perstigiosa technology consultant Gartner has given the iPhone a first “go ahead” to use his business. The Gartner report highlights the effort he has made Apple in the new firmware for the device adpatar to business requirements, such as use of a centralized server as Microsoft Exchange push to get information on the iPhone, and advances in the new VPN connection software.

However, Gartner criticizes Apple does not permit the installation of background processes running on the iPhone to take software to prevent theft of data, firewall or any other specific implementation of security needed in the business environment.

He urged Apple to change iTunes (or get a new application) and what suits the needs of the environment, such as blocking installation of certain applications and increase encryption security configuration files of users… In other words: more security and new options involved.
