This logo was the original Time Machine
Attentive to this feísimo logo discovered by one of the editors MacNN in the database of the European Trademark Office for the implementation of the original mark for Time Machine in late 2000.

The document shows that until the department of graphic design Apple patina occasionally, but at the end San Steve Jobs (or any of his apostles) finished poking hand to prevent the thing comes to light formally. Incidentally, the mark is filed under the International Classification 042 related to computer programming, but Apple may have other ideas in mind for that time to include it in the classification covering 009 scientific apparatus and instruments, navigational, photographic, optical, measuring, marking, supervision, rescue and education among a lot more that does not fall to comment on the case.
Finally, a curiosity to begin the week definitely seems to have used the time machine to come directly from the sixties when Ambigram and other moves were still fashionable.
